Preparing Yourself for a Great 2021

We are now at the end of October. That means there are only two months left before we enter 2021. What should we do?

Well, I believe that we should use the last two months of this year to build a strong foundation for next year.

Needless to say, 2020 has been a challenging year. The biggest challenge for many of us, of course, is the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has affected pretty much every area of our lives. But here is the thing: where there is a difficulty, there is also an opportunity. It’s just a matter of perspective. As I wrote in How to Reinvent Yourself:

Your perspective determines your actions, so taking a positive view is essential. Having a positive view will push you to take positive actions with a positive attitude. You can then go through this situation not just surviving but thriving.

I believe that a time like this is a good time to reinvent yourself. Accordingly, 2021 could be the time for the new you to thrive. That’s why you should make the most of the rest of this year. That way you can start 2021 strong!

My post on reinventing yourself has some ideas on what to do:

  1. Identify your core skills.
  2. Imagine new possibilities.
  3. Build a passion for learning.
  4. Experiment.
  5. Be resourceful.
  6. Take time to reflect.

Complementing them, here are some ideas on how to use the last two months of this year to prepare for next year:

These are just some ideas; feel free to share yours in the comments below. The bottom line is, you should start early to make your next year great!
