In my previous post, I wrote about building a passion for lifelong learning. Having a passion for lifelong learning is essential to help you reach your full potential. Now, I’d like to cover what I believe is a good way to learn about life: reading biographies.
Why is reading biographies useful? There are at least four reasons:
- It can teach you about pitfalls to avoid (so that you don’t need to learn things the hard way).
- It can teach you about how to respond to failure.
- It can open your mind about what is possible.
- It can teach you about great principles to live by.
Of course, there are many biographies to choose from, so I’d like to ask you:
What are your favorite biographies and why?
Please leave your answer in the comments so that everyone can read it. Thanks!
I loved John Lennon and Maya Angelou’s biographies x
Thanks for sharing!
You ask great Questions that I don’t have an answer to. I will have to find time to read. Thank you for keeping in contact with me. Life is different for me. Just starting to put one foot on the floor. Today is the beginning of the rest of my life. One of the changes is reading for pleasure. Just been reading to keep up with work.
Thank you
I’m glad to hear that it’s a new beginning for you. Good luck and keep moving forward!
Thank you for enlighten us on how biographies are pretty useful to exploring our full potential for life. I strongly agree with your opinion. Thanks once again and keep on doing what others found it difficult to do. Educating people I think is the most humanity gesture for life. Be blessed
