How ever I believe that getting promoted in any job not only involves hard work but lot of communication and presentation skills. It is important to revisit your principles (processes, procedures, whatever term you might use) from time to time, especially after life-changing events, such as having a baby, getting married, your competitor getting bought by a corporation, etc. Revisit them by answering the following questions (notice #3): 1) What is the principle? Define it. 2) Why is it a principle? 3) Have circumstances changed since it became a principle? 4) Is it effective? 5) Does it comply with your responsibilities? I enjoyed it. But even the best and most proper intent gets "old" as the time passes - due to environment changes, for instance. To my modest assumption a system monitoring the intent relevance is of greater importance than the present intent itself. We all tend to get used to the way of always did the things so we must create mentality of challenging status quo. Nice topic. I enjoyed it.
