I also have similar goal myself. I want to have automatic income that can support the lifestyle I desire.

The 4-Hour Workweek is one of the best books I read. My goal now is to increase my passive income to the point where I can live like Tim.
At least is't my long term goal. A must read.

Dear Donald,

Thanks for this great list -- and the links to the others. One of my favorite books in 2007 was "Made to Stick" -- simply brilliant thinking. "The Black Swan" has piqued my interest and will be my next.

I just finished one I'd like to share with you -- It's by Marci Shimoff and it's called "Happy for No Reason: 7 Steps to Being Happy from the Inside Out." She writes about positive psychology, but in a down-to-earth, practical approach and addresses gaining happiness in these areas: personal power, mind, heart, body, soul, purpose, and relationships. I hope you get as much (or more) out of it as I did.

Happy 2008! Love your blog -- glad I found it.
